Full Job Description:
Main objective is to ensure the provision of a high standard of cleanliness throughout all the cleaning services of Apex Group. The Cleaning Supervisor will need to work in synergy with the Coordination and Supervision Departments.
- Make sure that cleaning is conducted thoroughly to the required specification, as directed, using correct techniques and cleaning equipment;
- Make sure that all the team work safely using correct warning signs, protective clothing and safety equipment, and be aware of hazards to others;
- Train and guide cleaners on the respective cleaning duties in order to support the Department’s objectives;
- Undertake training in use of methods, materials and equipment, as instigated by the company;
- Report immediately any defects of equipment, furniture and/or fittings and low level of cleaning material;
- Prepare and deliver cleaning products and equipment to clients;
- Supervisor, guide and motivate the cleaning team in order to achieve high standards of work;
- Meet with clients, handle complaints, and plan and follow-up on action plans;
- Compile reports on the on-site cleaning supervision conducted;
- Deliver and collect documents from clients and other companies;
- Place cleaning orders and ensure that they are delivered on time;
- Stock-taking of cleaning products and equipment at Apex stores;
- Upkeep of the Apex vehicle which will be making use of;
- Remain up to date with Apex Group policies and communicate such policies with the cleaning team;
- Ability to work on a flexible schedule, at times working on Saturdays;
- Any other task, as directed by one’s superior/s.
