What was your previous work experience leading up to joining Apex?
In my home country of Sri Lanka, I worked as a phone repair technician. After that, I pursued opportunities for professional growth in Malaysia and Singapore, before finally moving to Malta 4 months ago. I have been working with Apex for the past 3 months.
- What are your responsibilities at our company?
My work responsibilities entail thoroughly cleaning clients’ premises from beginning to end. This includes different settings, such as offices, production areas, childcare centres, and condominiums.
- What aspects of your job do you find most fulfilling?
I enjoy working in a role within the community. I also appreciate the variety in my day-to-day routine since I clean different buildings and workplaces. The people that I work with definitely make my work life more enjoyable.
- What do you enjoy doing in your personal time?
During my free time outside of work hours, I enjoy going out, walking in the countryside or by the beach, and meeting friends.
- Where is your favourite place in the world?
My favourite place has to be my home country, Sri Lanka. It is a very beautiful place with a rich culture.
- Where do you see yourself in 5 years’ time?
I see myself staying in Malta with my family, settling into a house of our own, and still working with Apex.
- Do you believe there’s room for growth with Apex Group?
Yes, I believe there is room for growth and advancement, both in life and in career development. This prospect makes me happy to work with Apex.
- Any word of advice for people who wish to pursue their career with Apex Group?
As a cleaner, we don’t need any specific qualifications or experience, however, we require some knowledge about proper cleaning and chemicals. Apart from that, a good cleaner should have good interpersonal and communication skills.
