Rostering Officer (Full-Time)

The Role

Apex Group is currently recruiting a full-time Rostering Officer to join our growing team. The position calls for day-to-day responsible individuals that can handle running of services.

  • Daily management of emails and other correspondences;
  • Handles telephone calls and if needed directs them to the respective department;
  • Handles the company’s on-call mobile phone on a rotation basis;
  • Does filing and data inputting;
  • Prepares clients’ files for distribution;
  • Maintains the clients’ database;
  • Creates and amends the rostering frameworks and inserts the necessary data;
  • Planning, organising, revising, and distributing workflows and rosters to employees and clients;
  • Communicating with employees and ensuring that they are aware of their duties and delegated tasks;
  • Guiding and providing employees with the necessary information to arrive at their duty;
  • Liaising with employees on availabilities;
  • Reports to the Services and Support Manager on the daily running of services;
  • Oversees and takes over the running of the services in the absence of the Services and Support Manager;
  • Liaises with the superiors for any respective difficulties;
  • Liaising with clients to ensure quality services levels are being achieved;
  • Receives complaints and resolves rostering problems where possible; informs the direct superiors of any complex issues;
  • Promoting the Group’s products and services;
  • Assisting in closing new services and bringing new clients;
  • Be ready to work flexibly;
  • Observes ethical issues and promotes good communication within the company.

Skillsets and Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
  • Proficient level of English and Maltese;
  • Will need to work flexible hours.

Education and Experience

  • O’ level standard of education or equivalent.
